Rye Beach House Addition

A new addition to an existing house on the Mornington Peninsula.

The architectural design is a new two-storey pavilion with two bedrooms and a game room. It responds to the steep site with an established olive grove garden. We created a relaxed atmosphere to match life on the peninsula. Timber-framed construction with simple roof lines lifting to bring in the soft south light, and large windows frame distant views to the bay.
