Pool Pavilion

A new pool and pool pavilion to an existing house on the Mornington Peninsula.

The design uses the same material for the new pavilion but in a new way that modernises the design and allows it to fit with the existing house. The pavilion is a timber portal structure with painted rafters to support a transparent roof. Hardwood battens are fixed under the rafter to filter the light like eyelashes for the building’s western façade.
